A mix of experienced Monash Uni Storm hands and new blood will fly the club's flag this year, with Monash's Victorian Netball League squads announced.
With the season now just seven weeks away, all three VNL teams are heavily into their preparation as the club plots its ascension back to the top of Victorian netball.
The squad will be strengthened by the addition of Melbourne Vixens training partner Kim Commane, who saw significant court time at ANZ Championship level in 2016 and will suit up for Monash for the first time.
And there will be fresh faces alongside Commane in Monash's Championship team, with defender Shannon Rennison crossing from Peninsula Waves, former Victorian 21/U representative Annabel Gillies returning to VNL action after some time away from the top level, and a number of players making the step up from Division 1.
Division 1 will also feature a new-look lineup, with five players to debut for Monash in 2017, alongside a core group returning from last year.
Meanwhile, the 19/U team will take an experienced squad into the season, headlined by Victorian 17/U representative Enya Broadley and Victorian training partner Daisy Hill, and with most of the 2016 team returning as they look to build on last year's seventh-place finish.
